What is xShopper?
xShopper is a bridge between products and customers enabled by influencers … Sounds good, doesn’t it? Unfortunately, technology can be a little confusing at times what with so many new apps popping up everywhere.
So What Is xShopper Really About?
Right now, xShopper is a mobile app where you can buy lots of stuff online – but wait, there’s more! xShopper is not just another online store.
The main concept on xShopper is the ability to buy a product straight from the content it was shown on – be it from a post, a video, or an online magazine. The best part? Whoever put the content together will be able to gain revenue from the sale. What this means is that it creates a new sales channel for the online shops because anyone can refer/sell the shop products, including a customer or any influencer. It is a new stream of revenue for anyone, because you can sell anything on the app, and in a meantime, it gives your customers an easy and fuss-free way to shop and buy whatever they see!
Where Did The Concept Come From?
My wife started an Instagram account more than a year ago (Go on; Hit Like and Follow!) which she loved doing sideline. After a couple of months of starting a blog, it was starting to become a really big deal. She had a tonne of followers and every picture on her Instagram garnered a couple of likes.
Only one thing was missing out in the equation: Where was all the revenue? They say do something you love, and you wouldn’t have to work a day in your life. So here we are. We started on xShopper, and all we have at the moment is a nice camera, a good lens, and an Instahusband with a whole lot of passion.
What we did was we sat down and brainstormed on how to make this a successful business with whatever we had: a cool online business so that husbands would not have to accompany their wives while they shop. Instead, they can easily do it directly from their xShopper app.
Weeks later, the base concept of xShopper was established and we started building the app.
Nothing is impossible with hard work, but more on that later!
